The College of Education and Community Innovation hosted its inaugural "QuickTalks on Scholarship" on November 20.

Eleven faculty members, representing every CECI academic unit, delivered 5-minute talks that highlighted a wide range of scholarly work. The rapid-fire format with auto-advancing slides kept the audience engaged and showcased the breadth and creativity of scholarship across the college.

The presentations embodied the theme of “Scholarship Worth Sharing” by highlighting work that advanced equity, enhanced practice and strengthened programs.

Designed to highlight faculty expertise and build community, QuickTalks gave attendees a chance to learn from one another, spark cross-unit connections and experience the full scope of work happening within CECI.

The college plans to continue the event as an annual celebration of collective scholarship.
