8th Grade Pathways to GVSU
The GVSU 8th Grade Pathways program is a college access and early engagement program designed to support first-generation, underrepresented, and motivated students as they explore their academic and career goals.

Grand Valley State University is proud to offer a range of articulated course pathways in partnership with HBCUs and HSIs. These pathways are designed to help students seamlessly pursue degrees that align with their academic aspirations and professional goals, ensuring a supportive and inclusive educational experience from start to finish.
MI GEAR Up
The Grand Valley State University MI GEAR UP Program works with local schools to offer students the academic skills, information and encouragement they need to not only graduate from high school, but apply and attend an institution of higher education.

Strategic Enrollment Leadership Academy (SEMLA)
Through a structured series of interactive, in person sessions, participants explore how enrollment decisions are made, how units across the university intersect, and how inclusive leadership and emotional intelligence strengthen organizational effectiveness. The academy emphasizes collaboration, reflection, and practical application, equipping participants with tools they can immediately apply within their roles.
