Early Career Teacher Mentoring in Battle Creek Public Schools

Participants: Program participants are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year, accredited initial teacher certification program or a post-baccalaureate PK-12 teaching certificate earned at a four-year university.                                       

Format: 2-3 hour in-person visits along with virtual meetings and observations.

Financial Benefit: Teachers who participate in mentoring will receive a $250 stipend.

Bonus Incentive: First year teachers who fully participate in mentoring AND the PLC will receive a $750 stipend and 10 SCHECHs.
