Economics Student Organizations
College is more than just attending classes. It means meeting new people, exploring new options, growing in ways you never thought possible, and having a great time while doing it all.
A very important part of the successful student's business curriculum is Student Business Organizations. While each organization is unique, all of them share a few important benefits to you:
- Growth of knowledge in your career area
- Networking with professionals in the field
- Added credibility to your resume
- Social involvement
Below, you'll find the student organizations specifically related to Economics. You can also view the full list of all Seidman Student Organizations.
Economics Student Organizations
The GVSU Economics Student Organization is a place for all GVSU students to explore their interest in economics and develop crucial skills not taught in the classroom. During the school year, the GVSU Economics Student Organization will bring in professional speakers from across the Grand Rapids area every week to teach students about current economic issues and share their experiences in their professional lives. Students will have the opportunity to personally connect with these experts and develop their networking skills. In addition to the speaker events, the GVSU Economics Student Organization will also host other networking, career, and research events to help students prepare for careers after college.
