Individual Counseling

Purposeful Conversation in a Supportive & Understanding Atmosphere

Individual counseling is designed to encourage self-exploration and understanding. It gives you a space to explore your goals and concerns in a comfortable, private, and non-judgmental setting. Students may seek individual counseling for issues surrounding emotional health, identity, relationships, sexuality, academics, and more.

Examples of topics brought up in counseling include:

  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Relationship Concerns
  • Identity
  • Organizational Skills
  • Calming/Anxiety Reduction Techniques
  • Sexual Assault or Abuse
  • Substance Use
  • Emotional Assistance Animals

Taking the first step is the hardest part.
