Transfer Student Testimonies
"Transferring to GVSU has been great! The Laker community was very welcoming and the College of Computing has tons of resources available to help students succeed. My advisor helped me maximize my transfer credits and plan out a path to graduate on time. The College of Computing also does a great job of highlighting events, networking opportunities, and internships. Courses like CIS 290 helped me build valuable professional skills and even land a local internship during my first year as a transfer student!"
Pooja Poduguru, Class of 2026
"Transferring from GRCC to GVSU was a big step for me, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made. I was able to build on the foundation I started at GRCC while finding new opportunities, supportive professors, and a community at GVSU that helped me feel like I belonged. My transfer experience helped me grow more confident in myself and my goals."
