Women's Volleyball Club
About Our Team!
We are an organization that offers a fun and competitive environment for Grand Valley students to play volleyball and be a part of a team! We travel throughout the school year to other universities for tournaments, like U of M and MSU, and participate in the NCVF National Championships every April. This year our Nationals will be held in Kansas City, Missouri. Being a member of the Women's Club Volleyball means creating friendships, staying healthy, and gaining skills that apply on and off the court.
Come visit us at Campus Life Night, where we give you information, answer questions and meet some of the players!
Tryouts 2026
Our tryouts usually take place September of the current year, so our next tryouts will take place September 2026. We don't have official dates yet, but make sure to follow our Instagram for updates about tryout dates and times as we get closer to fall 2026! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to [email protected] and we will get back to you quickly!

Our season is a full-year commitment, and we roughly have 3-4 tournaments per semester. We travel to places from the University of Michigan to Ohio State University and play other universities club teams! We not only practice twice a week, but we also condition after every practice to get into shape for future tournaments. Every year we are allowed to travel and participate in a National Tournament, where we play with more than 500 teams across the country. This year our Nationals is hosted in Kansas City, Missouri.
