Men's Ice Hockey Dryland Registration is Now Open

Men's Ice Hockey will begin dryland workouts the week of September 7th on campus. This will give opportunities for student-athletes to condition and start working together with coaches in preparations for tryouts.

Slots for dryland workouts may be limited due to facility capacity and all athletes will need to RSVP. All dryland training sessions will be led by Assistant Coach Ron Clark with assistance from Head Coach Carl Trosien and Assistant Coach Nolan Slager.

Clark has an extensive background in conditioning and personal training for numerous professional athletes including Andrei Svechnikov of the Carolina Hurricanes and Alexander Khovanov of the Minnesota Wild.

All athletes must be registered through IMLeagues on the Men's Ice Hockey team and have been approved through GVSU's daily self-assessment to participate. Masks and personal water bottles will be required.

All questions can be directed to Head Coach Carl Trosien at [email protected] or (989) 225-3250.
