GVSU Hockey Awards

The GVSU D3 Hockey Team took care of business in both games this weekend to advance to the Final Four of the MCHC Playoff this weekend. They have compiled a 25-3 record to this point in the season and are ranked #2 in the ACHA Division 3. In addition the the teams success this year, they have had 4 Players named to the MCHC All-Conference Team, of which two have been named to the All Dream Team. Tim Baldwin, who was named to each of these teams, was voted by all the MCHC Coaches ad MVP! The Lakers will be taking on Michigan on Friday at Griff's Ice House West at 7:45pm, with a win advancing them to the MCHC Final's against either Hope or Central Michigan as the wrap up the season before heading to Nationals.
