Scope of Project

The university has earmarked funds to bring the exhaust system up to current commercial standards.  With the number of times, Padnos Hall has been renovated over its 35 years of service, and it is time to standardize our exhaust system.  This project's scope will be to replace the 24 exhaust fans on the roof of Padnos while also replacing all of the variable actuator valves that control how much exhaust to provide to each hood in Padnos.

This project will be split over two summers. Phase 1 and 2. Half of the rooms in Padnos will be taken out of service in the summer of 2023 while they remove the exhaust fans on the roof and replace the hood valves in the laboratory rooms.  Most of the phase work will be done on the roof while they lift and mount one ventilation system on the roof and install the appropriate ducting to the existing building duct work.
