Join Storytime in the Park for Fun, Free Books, and Ice Cream!

Join Storytime in the Park this summer for stories, free books and ice cream, special guests, and a whole lot of fun! For kids and teens of all ages.
StorytimeGR began 11 years ago as Storytime in the Park, a grassroots organization and the brainchild of Dr. Barbara Lubic of GVSU. Every Tuesday evening in the summer families would connect to enjoy a story read-aloud, free ice cream cone, and book to keep.
StorytimeGR is a partnership of the Grand Rapids Public Library, Read GR, Grand Valley State University, and the City of Grand Rapids Office of Special Events.
