Mondays in Midland: Victoria Ritter, '13

Victoria Ritter always knew she wanted a career in writing! In 2021, she became a full-time reporter for the Midland Daily News with her own column, "Out for Lunch with Tori".
Tori also covers entertainment. She reports on local shows as well as performances that come through the Midland Center for the Arts.
She has interviewed speakers through the Matrix:Midland series. In 2018, she interviewed Darren McGrady, the chef for Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry.
“I get to talk to some pretty amazing people,” she said. “I spoke to the chef for the British royal family. He was a really good friend of Princess Diana.”
Ritter received her minor in public administration in 2013.
