Mary Idema Pew Library LEED Scavenger Hunt
Welcome to the Mary Idema Pew Library Green Building (LEED) Scavenger Hunt. Lesson Plans and Student Handouts
The lesson plans have been developed for 50-minute, 75-minute, and 150-minute blocks of time, and for 100-200 level courses and 300-400 level courses. The 50-minute and 75-minute lesson plans focus on either the major design elements or on the interdisciplinary design elements of the library. Versions A includes a Scavenger Hunt Competition. The Scavenger Hunt Competition is intended to ensure that students working in groups stay together throughout the library rather than dividing up the work of the Scavenger Hunt. This ensures that the students watch all videos and collaborate to answer the corresponding questions. Versions B removes the Scavenger Hunt Competition.
Online classes and visitors can also participate in a virtual Scavenger Hunt!
