Research Interests

My research involves the behavior and ecology of mammals. To date, my work has focused on how individuals use space in relation to habitat quality and resource distribution.  More recently I have become interested in studying wildlife disease in mammalian hosts.

Education

Ph.D., Department of Zoology, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, 1999. Dissertation: Use of space and movement of two vole species in response to habitat quality.
M.S., Biology, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, 1994. Master's thesis: Proximal factors influencing natal dispersal in Peromyscus leucopus.
B.S., Biology, Cum Laude, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, 1991.
