After graduating in 2015, Emily received a Master's in TESOL and taught English abroad in the northern coast of Colombia for 5 years as well as Chile for a year. She recently returned to the U.S. and is now teaching Spanish through the Modern Language and Literatures department at Grand Valley and is the full-time Scheduling Registrar at Grand River Preparatory in Kentwood. She's happy to be back in the Grand Rapids area and serving the community that had given so much to her as an undergrad student.
