Brittany Hunter '08 and Matthew Ruen (a GVSU Library faculty member) were married on June 8, 2023, in a private ceremony on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. They exchanged vows of love overlooking Loch Coruisk and the beautiful Cuillin mountains. Their shared association with GVSU provided an easy point of connection on their first date, and they have appreciated the outpouring of joy and support from Matt's colleagues and other GVSU community members as they begin their lives together as husband and wife!
