In June of 2022, I landed a job with Continental Services after researching venues on the East side of Michigan that I could have only ever dreamed of working at. With any luck, I now work for a company that manages, staffs, and coordinated culinary at venues such as the Detroit Opera House, the Ford House, Waterview Loft, Planterra Conservatory, and so many more. For training, I was introduced to the Infinity & Ovation Yachts in St. Clair Shores and absolutely fell in love! I now work in event operations on a yacht down the Detroit River, which is something I never thought I would be able to say. With the seasonal nature of this venue, I get the best of both worlds as I work on the yachts April to early October, and get to travel to a new venue every day in the off-season to help people host and attend the party of a life time!
