Dr. Sarah Dunkel-Jackson is the winner of NHL's 2025 Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award! The Award is given to an individual who, through the sport of hockey, has positively impacted their community, culture, or society. Sarah is the director of the Hockey Challenge Camp in East Lansing for children with disabilities. The hope is to raise funds for hockey sleds and adaptive equipment used at the hockey camp for players with disabilities.
