I graduated on a Saturday, and sat at my new desk on Tuesday. I was very fortunate to get a career directly out of college as a Marketing Coordinator with the Columbian Logistics Network. However, I will say...I worked hard and applied early...very early! My advice to seniors, don't wait too long. I am very happy in this position. I make up our Marketing Department here, and have control of marketing for corporate and all of our facilities. Some of my responsibilities include: graphic design for all departments, photography, content creation, blog writing, creating our quarterly newsletter, biweekly employee update newsletter, social media, writing job ads, event planning, writing press releases, creating presentations for all departments, and so much more. I am in charge of our upcoming rebranding campaign. I love all of the responsibility and independence that I get in this position. I am very fortunate with this position right out of college, because it is setting me up just right for whatever is next!
