Manfred Tatzmann has published his second book, entitled An Extraordinary Friendship. It covers the four decades of friendship of the author and Richard L. Prangley, originally from Grandville, MI. At age 7 Richard was placed in a state institution for 15 years, having never learned to read or write. He and the author became friends in 1980 and developed an exhibit to teach school children about mental disabilities. Over the four decades, the author became his friend mentor, guiding angel, and big brother. Prangley went on to be invited to the White House, receiving a national award at the Grand Ole Opry, and in appearances on network talk shows and conferences. Tatzmann was his guide and mentor along the way.
