Kevin Patterson, '04, has been named the Assurance Office Managing Partner for the BDO USA, LLP Detroit market which is one of the nation's leading accounting and advisory firms. In his new role, Patterson will oversee the local assurance practice and continue providing audit services with a focus on publicly traded and privately held manufacturing, distribution, and insurance clients. With 15 years of experience, Patterson has worked extensively with both private equity owned and publicly traded automotive manufacturers and automotive suppliers from both an acquisition and divestiture perspective. A dedicated member of the community, he sits on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement and the World Affairs Council. Patterson received a Master of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and finance, magna cum laude, from Grand Valley State University.
