Reyna Worthy, a military spouse based at NAS Key West, FL, is part of the 2025-26 cohort of the Military Spouse Leadership Initiative. A program of the Association of Defense Communities and Liberty Military Housing, the initiative brings together military spouses from across the country to engage with their local communities and become part of the national dialogue about security, military family life and other topics. Worthy is one of 10 spouses selected for this year's cohort out of almost 40 nominations. "I love pouring into the military spouse community through connection, advocacy, and empowerment" Worthy said "because behind every service member is a story worth telling and I help spouses tell it. I enjoy empowering military spouses to thrive through every move, mission and milestone." "By participating in ADC events and special programming, Worthy and other spouses will have an impact in their communities and in other defense communities," said ADC President Tom Ford. "This program continues to showcase the strength, dedication, and leadership of our military spouses," Ford said. Gail Miller, chief operating officer at Liberty Military Housing called the cohort an "inspiring group." "We're continually impressed by the dedication and vision military spouses bring to their communities, and we look forward to championing their journeys," Miller said.
