Imani Watson graduated from GVSU in 2017 and recently became a self-published author. "Imani Means Faith" is a book that includes a combination of Imani's journals from 7th grade into adulthood. Imani responds back to her entries as an adult and the book finishes with advice to all battling mental challenges. Imani also runs a non-profit in her free time, Mommy's Break Inc., and purchased land in 2022 to build the organization's 1st group home.
