Aimee Hite, '18, graduated with an M.D. from Oakland University William Beaumont Medical School on May 13, 2022. At the Honors Convocation, she received the Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement for being in the top 5 women in the graduating class of 2022. She was also inducted into theAlpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society along with the top 10% of her class. In addition, Aimee was named "Outstanding Student" for her M3 year and was awarded the 2021 Revitz Foundation Embark Program Competitive Scholarship for her published work entitled, "Reporting of Concussion Symptoms in High School Aged Athletes." She and her fiance, Dr. Ben Travers, begin their residencies in June at University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill. Dr. Hite will be specializing in Family Medicine, and Dr. Travers will be working in Emergency Medicine.
