In January, Michael was named 2017 Seattle Health Innovator of the Year for Institutional Collaboration. Health Innovations NW awarded Michael in part for his work in the development and successful opening of First Hill Surgery Center - a one of a kind joint venture Ambulatory Surgery Center owned and operated The PolyClinic and Swedish Health Services, and one of the largest free standing ambulatory surgical facilities in the United States.
