Matea was recently appointed as the inaugural Chief of Staff for the Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS) department at Michigan State University. As an integral member of the senior management team, she works closely with the Assistant Vice President for REHS, advancing and aligning strategic priorities, and overseeing assessment and organization development efforts for the department consisting of over 1,400 employees across multiple units and work locations.
