Emily Skoog (class of 2019 and 2022) and Ryan Skoog (class of 2020) got married in Golden, Colorado on August 7th, 2023. The two met during their freshman year at GVSU while both living in Ott Living Center. Emily and Ryan started dating their sophomore year and have been together ever since! They decided to have a small destination wedding with their closest friends and family. Of Emily's 13 bridesmaids, 9 are fellow GVSU alumni! Emily is currently an academic advisor for the Kirkhof College of Nursing. The couple enjoys visiting campus and they regularly attend football games to show their Laker pride!
