Gary J. Erwin, '90, was appointed Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications at University of Detroit Mercy in 2017. Recently, he also had his book of short stories, Trail Crossing Sixteen Counties, accepted for publication by Adelaide Books of New York. His book will be published in the fall of 2019. Stories from his collection have appeared in several literary reviews and journals in the U.S. and have received Pushcart Prize nominations. He lives with his wife, Julie, '91, and their three kids in Clarkston, Michigan.
