Sixty-one golfers participated in the GVSU Baseball Alumni Chapter Golf Outing on October 8, 2016 at the Meadows Golf Course. The event was a fundraiser to support Grand Valley's men's baseball team and included a post-golf reception. The first place team included Scott Allen, Mike Moreno, Chris Moreno, and Tommy Fellows.
Swimming and Diving Alumni Meet: October 8, 2016 (13 Photos)
Twenty-five swim and dive alumni participated in several different relays, races, and diving events at the Grand Valley Swimming and Diving Alumni Meet on October 8, 2016. Another 10 swim and dive alumni volunteered at the meet, and 45 people attended a reception that followed. The meet was a fundraiser for Grand Valley's Swim and Dive Program.

The Kirkhof College of Nursing Alumni Chapter hosted a reception on September 28, 2016 to celebrate and recognize GVSU faculty. Guests got to meet Dean Cynthia McCurren and other KCON alumni members, and were treated to a viewing of the film The American Nurse, a film that follows five nurses and their work with patients in various stages of life.
