Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. Over the past 20 years, scientists have gained a deeper understanding of the pathophysiology of heart disease from animal studies. This talk will discuss recent advances in animal studies for treatment of cardiac hypertrophy and heart attack using stem cells.
