In times of great change and cultural upheaval, strong leadership is essential in steering a business, school, or other organization to success. As Grand Valley State University's fifth president, and the first female to hold the position, Philomena "Philly" Mantella knows all too well how to navigate a changing landscape. Nationally recognized as a change agent in higher education, Mantella has spearheaded efforts to expand lifelong learning and digital initiatives at universities throughout the country, creating benefits for learners and employers along the way. Mantella brings more than 30 years of experience to her position at Grand Valley. Join the Hauenstein Center, as we welcome President Philomena Mantella, to our Wheelhouse Talks series. Mantella will share her life experiences in learning and leadership with our graduating class of fellow candidates in our Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy.
