Welcome
The Global Laker Alumni Network exists to connect study abroad and international student alumni through periodic events both domestically and abroad to socialize, network, learn, mentor, celebrate and support global learning and engagement.
Our purpose is to:
- Bring alumni together for networking, professional development, social activities, mentoring, lifelong learning, and community service.
- Build upon our relationships among GVSU alumni personally and professionally.
- Provide support to students, alumni, and the Padnos International Center.
- Support the mission of the Alumni Relations office and GVSU.

My Honors College study abroad trip to Ghana was life changing. Our group was introduced to Challenging Heights, a non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates children enslaved in the fishing industry.
