Students learn to navigate the complexities of conducting business in different countries, including economic, political, and cultural factors that influence global operations. This program is for business and nonbusiness students alike, except for those majoring in general business.
Foundational courses are in macroeconomics, international business, and culture. Electives range from international accounting to emerging markets, comparative economic systems to international financial management, and multinational marketing to international economic issues. You must also complete an elective in cultures or international business, or opt for a three-credit international internship for practical experience.
The program boasts faculty members who bring expertise in international business and strong academic credentials to the classroom. Small class sizes foster close engagement between professors and students, while courses integrate the latest technologies in Internet, e-commerce, and enterprise resource planning. Advisors will assist you in finding internships related to your international business interests, allowing you to gain valuable experience and connect with people around the world while managing your studies.
