Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Graduate Major

Online (?) • 33 Credits

The field of education, design, and technology integrates innovative teaching methods, creative problem-solving, and advanced technological tools to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.

Overview

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT) program equips professionals to create and develop engaging, effective, instruction and research-based learning environments that leverage technology across various settings, including PK-12, higher education, business, non-profits, and other training environments.

This program combines contemporary learning theories with emerging technologies to design, develop, and evaluate educational environments, products, and programs. Offered entirely online, the LDT program features two emphasis areas: educational technology and instructional design. The educational technology emphasis is tailored for educators looking to enhance their skills in teaching with technology, while the instructional design emphasis focuses on improving the capabilities of all professionals to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate instructional products and experiences effectively.

Studying education, design, and technology allows you to develop and grow professionally within a collaborative community of learners, engaging with faculty members, outside experts, mentors, and like-minded colleagues. Learning is grounded in evidence-based practices, utilizing information, digital tools, and instructional materials. Faculty members, who are experts in their fields, remain flexible, available, and supportive of students.
