Faculty and Staff

1. CLAS Faculty and Staff Start-Up Meeting

The CLAS Faculty and Staff Start-Up Meeting will take place on Thursday, August 25 in the Louis Armstrong Theatre in the Thomas J. and Marsha J. Haas Center for Performing Arts. Join us for coffee and conversation at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Center for Performing Arts. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Lunch under the tent will follow on the lawn behind Kirkhof.

Please RSVP using the CLAS Start-up Meeting and lunch RSVP form. The meeting will also be available via livestream. If you request(ed) a livestream link on the RSVP form, you will receive a Zoom link the week of August 22.

2. In search of our loaner regalia

CLAS has two loaner gowns for faculty to use at commencement and convocation which do not seem to have made their way back to us. If you discover one of these hanging on the back of your door or in a closet at home, please send it back to the CLAS Dean’s Office. We blame the pandemic, not you.

Unit Heads

3. Ready for your close up?

University Communications would like to encourage those in leadership positions, those serving as media experts, and those likely to be featured in GVNext and other campus media to be proactive about signing up for portraits. Schedule a sitting for your own head shot or consider arranging for your whole unit to be photographed.
