Lörrach Germany-- Founded in 1980, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) offers a practice-oriented approach to learning by making companies an integral part of the university system. This program is geared toward engineering students who are interested in participating in an international co-op. The university itself cooperates with over 25 industry partners to offer co-op education.
Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany - The Summer German language program offers six weeks of intensive language instruction and a seminar on the culture and history of Germany. Students spend five weeks in the medieval town of Schwäbisch Gmünd and participate in a week-long excursion to Berlin. Schwäbisch Gmünd is a medium sized town in eastern Baden-Württemberg near the Bavarian border with a history that dates back to a Roman settlement in the second century.
Pädagogische Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd: This program is for students studying German, English or Literature. Set upon a hilltop just outside the town of Schwabisch Gmund, PHSG is just a short bus ride to the city centre which offers students a very warm and culturally rich atmosphere. This medieval town is part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Roman Limes," and is home to several architectural treasures, museums, shopping centers and cafes.
