Did You Know...

Unlike other countries japan & European countries the UAE has more than just one royal family. The UAE has 7 Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah & Umm al-Quwain) each of which has its own royal family. Each of the Emirates have different cultures, traditions and even dialects.
 

Every State in the United States exports to the UAE, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

The UAE has a on average a 94% adult literacy rate, in males it is 93.1% and in females its 95.8%

Burj Khalifa is a 828 meter tall skyscraper that is a 163 stories high is known for hold the following records: Tallest building in the world, tallest free standing structure, tallest service elevator and with longest travel distance, highest outdoor observation deck, highest amount of stories in a building, and finally the highest amount of occupied floors 

Due to UAE being a large Muslim influenced country Emirati cuisine is centered around meats such as Lamb, chicken, camel, goat, mutton & beef. Muslim are prohibited from eating Pork due to religious reasons. Emirati cuisine ingredients commonly have rice, fried vegetables, yogurt with a range of herb & spices.

The Arabian Oryx, an animal which was considered to be extinct in the 1960s but due to breeding programs the animal was saved. It can be commonly sighted in the Dubai Conservation Area and near the Bab Al Shams. The Arabian Oryx is called "al maha" in arabic, known for its distinctive white shape and its long, straight horns has a tendency to wander in the winter season although most animals stay in their restricted area.
