Len O'Kelly to Receive a Distinguished Advisor Award

Len O'Kelly is one of eight faculty advisors across the country who will be presented with a Distinguished Advisor Award by the College Media Association. He is being awarded for his work as faculty advisor to Grand Valley’s student radio station “The Whale” and for his role as the Associate Director for the School of Communications. The Fall National College Media Association award ceremony will broadcast virtually on Friday, Oct. 23.
The College Media Association is the largest organization in the United States of its kind, which works to acknowledge and celebrate media advisors at two and four-year colleges.
