Relay for Life Raises Over $50k

As Relay for Life comes to a close, Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is thrilled to announce that the event raised $52,779.38 for the American Cancer Society. With the in-person event being cancelled due to COVID-19, the students in this organization worked tirelessly to plan an entirely virtual experience in its place. They found a way to bring all our favorite parts of Relay, from a lip sync challenge to the Luminaria Ceremony, right to our screens.
Relay for Life is a community-wide fundraising event that serves
to help the American Cancer Society. Each year, thousands of people
join together to raise money in solidarity with those affected by
cancer. Events typically consist of teams set up around a track with
individual fundraising stations. Participants are invited to walk the
track as a symbol of their support and partake in fundraising events.
