Kaitlin Traboulay

Kaitlin Traboulay is a sophomore at GVSU studying allied health sciences and pre-professional studies with a physician's assistant emphasis and a minor in biology. During her first year at GVSU, she commuted and felt disconnected from other Lakers. However, after walking around at Campus Life Night, she found Greek Life. Kaitlin thought Greek life would be an interesting community to be a part of, so she joined Alpha SIgma Tau

Kaitlin says upon meeting the members of Alpha Sigma Tau, she already felt very appreciated and loved. AST supports the five philanthropies of Greek Life, hosts sisterhood events with other sororities, and of course has bonding within the chapter. By joining AST, Kaitlin’s confidence has grown astronomically. As a formerly shy, first-year student, Kaitlin gained dozens of friends and sisters. “There is always someone I run into at Starbucks,” Kaitlin adds.

Kaitlin owes her newfound outgoing personality to her involvement in AST, and encourages other students to get involved too. Kailin says, “joining something in general can be really great for your mental health and emotional well-being” as it was for her.
