Sarah Maxey is a GVSU junior studying accounting, and she is also the president of Grand Valley’s very own Quidditch club. Quidditch is a fun and competitive sport inspired by the Harry Potter series, and through this student organization, Sarah has developed a host of new friendships. Sarah says that student organizations at Grand Valley have the power to "bring people together in unexpected ways."
By being elected into a leadership role, Sarah has had to work on her time management skills to balance her student life involvement and her school work. Her involvement has helped her develop organizational and leadership skills that will benefit her in many areas of life.
