Involvement Spotlights
Sade Hall

Sade heard about Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in her junior year of high school. Sisterhood was very important to her, so she knew she wanted to join when she got to college. Now a member, Sade holds the positions of secretary and social media chair.
Not only is she a part of Sigma Gamma Rho, but Sade is also the president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and a member of many other student organizations. The council focuses on scholarships, service, sisterhood, and brotherhood. Sade has always wanted to “be someone who could help,” and these organizations have helped her reach that goal.
Sade explains the countless skills she has gained from these organizations: meeting with higher ups has taught her maturity, and her position as secretary has taught her professionalism, skills that are extremely useful for her future. Sade has also learned how to be herself: “Don’t try to be someone you think we want you to be,” she advises.
