Megan White is a senior at Grand Valley majoring in allied health science with a minor in biology. She currently serves as the vice president of the Women’s Water Polo Team.
Megan has been involved with the water polo team since her first year, after her friends convinced her to trade in swimming for water polo. "It's something I always wanted to do," Megan says. After the first meetings and practices, Megan had found a new hobby.
Through water polo, Megan has been able to "go and be around people who are the same… and get away from school for a little bit." Had she not joined the team, Megan "would definitely have a lot less friends." She credits water polo for making her more open to other people and accepting of ideas from her teammates.
