Victoria Force

Victoria Force is a second year master's student studying biostatistics. She is the president of the Irish Dance Club and has previously served as the community relations officer and vice president.

When she started the club in 2016 with her roommate, neither of them thought the club would be what it is today. Their membership has grown significantly, and the team frequently performs at all sorts of events on campus. They have won medals at every competition they’ve been to, and they’ve made appearances at Irish on Ionia, Michigan’s largest Irish street parade. The club is currently planning their first ever St. Patrick’s Day event this year.

As the president of Irish Dance Club, Victoria has been able to gain many new skills as well as strengthen ones she already had. It has given her “the opportunity to choreograph dance routines for the first time” and has taught her how to cut and mix all the music they use in performance. She loves seeing the growth of students younger than her who are just starting in the club and is excited to see what the future holds for Irish Dance Club.
