Are you trying to track new service hours?
Starting July 1, 2019, the Community Service Learning Center has moved to using LakerLink to track Service Hours.
Tracking your hours using LakerLink couldn't be easier. Simply log into LakerLink, and click on your “initial” in the top right corner. This will open a drop-down menu, and you’ll select Experiences from this list. After that, in the Experiences module, click the blue button that says “Add Experience,” then click "Community Service Hours"
Why should I track my service hours in LakerLink?
Using LakerLink to track your service hours allows you to keep track of your volunteer hours over the course of your college career. Having these hours all in one place is helpful for building your resume, applying for graduate schools, and tracking your own Laker Effect.
Are you looking for hours logged in the original Service Tracker?
Hours logged prior to July 1, 2019, can still be viewed in our old Service Tracker system.
How do I log hours if I'm not a part of a Student Organization?
Simply leave the "organization" area blank in the entry form, and you'll be able to enter hours that aren't affiliated with any GVSU registered student organization.
Why can't I log my hours for more than one organization?
LakerLink only allows you to select one organization at a time when logging hours. We recommend attributing hours to organizations that require service hours first, then assigning hours to other organizations once you’ve met any requirements.
I need to pull service hours for my student organization, how do I do that?
Please email the Community Service Learning Center at email@example.com stating your organization’s name, the date range, and your position within the organization. From there, we are happy to pull you a report within 2 business days of your request.
This is so cool! I want to do some service and start tracking my hours right now, how do I do that?
