Duties of Volunteer
At Family Promise of Grand Rapids we provide shelter and basic needs to families with children. We then work with families to help them find stable and sustainable housing. Often times when families move home they are starting off with very little. We accept furniture donations from folks in the community and then deliver these items to families as they move home. This is a great group opportunity for 2-5 people!

Details of special training
We host a monthly volunteer orientation that anyone is welcome to join! It is not required that you attend the orientation prior to volunteering.

Details of special skills
*1 person must have a valid driver's license & be comfortable driving a pickup truck. *This opportunity does require lifting items such as dressers, sofas & dining tables.
