Duties of Volunteer
Work one on one or in a small group with elementary students from the Creston neighborhood of Grand Rapids at New City Afterschool. This is an incredibly important part of our program as we strive to help students stay on track with their education. (Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday from 4 to 4:45 PM)

Details of special training
There will be a volunteer training from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 27 at New City Neighbors, 1226 Union Ave NE Grand Rapids. If volunteers cannot make this time, contact Holly to schedule another meeting.

Details of special skills
No special skills needed. Volunteers should have a desire to work with elementary age students. Volunteers must contact Holly, fill out application, pass a background check and attend a brief training.
