Experiential Learning

Research, community engagement, internships, and study abroad are some of the ways the Statistics Voyage will transform your classroom learning into real-world experience. Every Statistics major will take part in at least two hands-on opportunities. In STA 315 Design of Experiments you conduct your own experiment. In STA 321 Applied Regression Analysis you develop a statistical model to predict a response (output) variable using many explanatory (input) variables. In STA 415 Mathematical Statistics II you work in a learning community to solve complex problems.
