STA 419 Project Detailed Questionnaire

Hello researcher (client).

Thank you for responding to the invitation to work with student statistical consultants in the GVSU class STA 419 Statistics Project. Please complete this project information form. After the STA 419 instructor has reviewed all the requests for project assistance, they will be in contact with you. Many thanks for assisting our students in their statistics education. This form should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

The client agrees to the following items:

Regularly meet with the consultants (students) and to serve as a mentor concerning the research process. This includes making sure that the consultants clearly understand the objectives of the study.
Evaluate each consultant (student)’s work individually toward the end of the semester. The evaluation is used as part of the student’s overall semester grade. An evaluation form /link (Client Evaluation Form) will be sent to the client from the STA 419 instructor toward the end of the semester.
Allow the consultants to give a presentation at the Student Scholars Day (to which you will be invited). The focus of the presentation will be on key findings of the project and what the consultants learned about being statistical consultants. Please inform if there are items you know that you do not want the students to discuss at SSD@GVSU.
Allow the student presentation on key findings of the project to be posted on the Statistics Project Showcase website with access to power point slides/video LIMITED to GVSU login ONLY.
