Power of Place: Tragedy and Triumph at Complex 34

The remains of historic launch facilities dot the landscape at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Cape Canaveral has seen more than 8,000 launches since 1950 and the number grows every week. The trials and triumphs of this incredible volume of space launch activity emanate from the remaining historic launch complexes. Nowhere is this power of place more pronounced than Launch Complex 34.
